good read...so does the reshuffling of job titles mean Hobbs would be the coach if JC is sidelined/ejected?

Doesn't this sound like he's waiting till October to announce his retirement?
"Dean Smith waited until the fall because he said you have to wait until everything settles down, wait until everything is behind you," Calhoun said during a wide-ranging interview with ESPN on Tuesday. "That's exactly what I'm doing. It's not a mystery."
"... he has two years left on his UConn contract and expects to be at the university in some capacity until that time is up."
In some capacity?

Yes it does. I noted the same thing in a different thread. He's gone but he'll do it on his own terms and pass the job down to KO.

and at the end of the article, he says something like "i have to decide if i can give 100%, and if so i'll see you in october". it's confusing to me why he chooses to be cryptic.

If all I knew was this article, I wouldn't say he's being cryptic. I'd say he won't coach this coming season.

What does he mean "everything is behind you?" APR season? Is he going to hand the ball off to Ollie only to watch Ollie (or any coach) fail? Because this season is going to be a hard one.
