And if you will notice..the stands are packed and the crowd is rocking regardless of score....

Yes it's bad here at UConn..but if we want to be big..we need to act it..not act like some entitled fan base that will walk out when things get tough. Support the players even if you hate the staff and admin.

And look at the visiting crowd - if North Dakota wasn't a barren state in the middle of nowhere, it would be a sports haven, the people up there are gadzooks in love with UND and NDSU, and they travel like crazy.

Hell, it's only a 9 hour straight shot from NDSU... They drive 4 hours for groceries

Probably the same amount of options as you do in Storrs, CT. well minus the chance of getting shot in a popular night spot in Hartford. Do you like your school or don't you? Don't go to the games if you don't want to see who wins...

Said it before. UConn can be Kansas State east. Below the radar, competitive every year. And UConn has so many resource advantages over KSU it's not even funny. We just need to find Bill Snyder east. It aint PP

But every program needs those "on-the-fence" fans also who need a push. I am and have been a huge mens hoops supporter since prior to the JC-era and was always "curious" about the football team although I grew up a ND fan due to family. Anyway I go to 1-2 games a year and had company season tix for a few years when Gampel opened, there for the Indiana game, loved the vibe which was UConn football. But since PP took over I have seen one game, and can't stand the brand he and DeLeone put out there. Like many of the players but let's be honest, they need to be taught and coached in college especially when you're not getting blue chippers. What I saw Thursday night on ESPN3 was disgraceful and I will need to see improvement to even drive the 35 minutes to watch them. There are fans that need to be "bought" by displaying a fun, solid product with a chance to play a good game. From what I saw looking at the schedule they better hope Buffalo isn't too good or this could be an embarrassing as hell year for them..........that was brutal and PP did not have them prepared to play college football. How many times has he? You thought 5-7 was getting old, let's see how 1-11 is going to hurt recruiting and fan base!
