Kaleena and Bria but not Tiffany? What could be the logic of that? There is none, given Tiffany's consistent (unlike the other two) and team leading performance throughout this year.

Until February, I don't think there's any question that Bria was outperforming Tiffany. KML being chosen over Tiffany for the Wooden list perplexed me, and this is even more perplexing.

They forgot our senior, captain, and leading scorer, who is also a top-10 UConn career scorer.

An interesting stat from a Jim Fuller tweet:
"#UConn's Tiffany Hayes shattered the Big East record for 3-point percentage, hitting 59.1 percent in 16 league games."

AMAZING!

Tiff number are at the same level or better than the guards on the list. 15.8 PPG , 5.7 RPG, 3.5 APG, and 2.3 SPG... I don't get it.

I think the only guard who has fully comparable or clearly better stats than Tiffany is Skylar, and she's a slam dunk for 1st team AA, even on a 5-player team. I think Tiff has had a top-10 season and belongs on the 10-player AA teams. Tiff's shooting percentage was stellar this year.

Because she's been bad in big games. They don't pay attention when we win by 40. They look at who is playing well during a close game.

Even against Notre Dame last game, she was making shots early, and yes, she scored a lot, but her actual play wasn't that good. (No one but Stef's was, and even then...she didn't rebound well.) Bria was outstanding in four of our five big games, and KML got a pretty good reputation off of the Stanford one, but I'm not sure that she deserves to be on the list either.
