Just watched a replay of the Nebraska - Northwestern game

It was very entertaining. Both teams seemed to get up and down the floor quickly, especially in the first half. Northwestern seems like they are on a trajectory to emerge from the B1G basement.

Does anyone know if a series with Nebraska was ever explored? They seem like a team that is pretty disciplined in running their offense. Athletically, they may not match up well with UConn, but in terms of challenging UConn to play disciplined defense, they seem like a pretty good team.

It was a good game. NW coach called a time out right before the go ahead basket but they did get an even better open look shot but it did not fall. Both teams ran good offenses with a lot of movement.

Northwestern coach is one of the better in the business. A favorite of Rutgers fans, should get a nice reception, at least from the old-timers, when Rutgers plays next year. Always took time out when coming on to the floor at GW to exchange remarks with the RU fan section. A real class act.

Yeah that was a pretty cool game. I like the Nebraska women's program. Their coach is pretty solid and she has team always among the 20 Best teams in the nation.
