The team has gotten better under Mora, but there has been only minor improvement on offense under Charlton, but not nearly enough to be competitive. The defense has improved under Mora, especially on pass defense, although the bombs in yesterday's game makes us all feel differently. And, we need to figure out how to maintain good pass defense and stop running QBs. A couple of other stats. UConn's offense has not gained as many yards as our opponents current average yards allowed by 65 yards per game. On defense, UConn's opponents are being held 28 yards below their current average yards gained per game. UConn is ranked #41 in plays greater than 20 yards allowed, but ranked #120 in plays greater than 20 yards. [/QUOTE]
