Just saw Caron Butler on MSNBC

They were doing a segment on pro athletes behaving badly and highlighted Caron's stellar behavior despite his rough beginnings. I thought I heard them say that he had been in jail fifteen times! Did I see a thread a while back about his sight? His eyes seemed slightly out of focus.

That was juvenile detention, by the time he was 14. His last time in he was put in solitary for a week, had his personal epiphany, got out of Racine, and turned his life around. So technically, he has never been in jail (the adult kind). His biggest sin as an adult has been Mountain Dew addiction.

I think it was Rudy that had a thread about vision issues. But I think Caron wears contacts (vague memory of him having one put back in during a game).
