aka "Schuey's block party". Aside from Schuey's record-setting performance and the general basketball clinic that UConn put on one of my favorite plays was at 13:58 of the 2nd half when Shea scores on a pretty backdoor pass (one of many) and as she's crossing the paint to run back up court April McDivitt steps in front of her and gets sent to the floor, flat on her back, like she got hit by a truck. Shea barely reacts at all to the contact and runs up the court like nothing happened. So Shea.
Another moment of interest was the last few seconds. The game hopelessly out of reach (20+ pts), UConn just trying to dribble out the clock Kara Lawson is frantically playing D, refusing to give up. She tries to set up a trap (her teammates do not cooperate) , steals the ball and heaves a up a 3. Illustrated what I hated about her then and loved about her on the Sun. Gonna miss her.
