Your brother in law needs to be aware of AI hallucinations. There is a term since false information from AI is not uncommon.I have a brother in law who lives his life via AI; he takes their advice and asks it prolly 100 questions a day.
I warn him, "you can't always trust those things man, it is constantly wrong"
And he always replies, "it's literally a supercomputer brain, how can it be wrong"

Presumably they're restricting what the AI has access to and it isn't just crawling across the entire Internet to gobble up every crackpot and weirdo's explanations or theories.My company has a proprietary AI GPT and I've asked it some technical questions and I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of answers.
