Well, we scored 61 pts in regulation, then 30 in ten minutes of overtime, yet barely won. That's how good they were.

When Coach Moore said he wished they would have played Uconn in the Final 4,
this is what he was really saying: Because SC has the Greensboro Region sewed up
by luck of the draw we were sent to CT. No #1 wanted Uconn in their Region. The
other three played lesser opponents.

Sad for NC St, they were good enough to be in the Final 4. In the post-game interviews, their players eyes were colored "losing" and Uconn's "winning."
In the words of Geno, "Both teams should have won that game."

NC State played like the Champion that they are. They could have, should have won the game except for the exceptional Bueckers in critical moments of the game. Frankly it's a game for the ages. I have nothing but RESPECT for Wes Moore and his players. There was no quit in either team.

Simple answer. They are good enough to gain a number 1 seed.

They played the #2 seed as tough as you can. The final score was not in their favor. They are a championship team, with a great coach and staff.
