The women’s event features the USA, Canada, Belgium and France, with VCU representing the United States.

Looks like Te-Biasu sill face her college team and Lattimore and Dwyer will get some reps in together before teaming up for Miami this year.

USA's men's team will be Baylor.

Don't forget Hanson and Kyei will get some time to work with each other for Oregon.

Hope Aaliyah does not take a step back in this international competition.

Understand the concern, however this may not be too bad overall. Her participating in this event has her back in CT before the end of July and she would continue her off-season training. A much shorter commitment in comparison to Worlds which would have her away from the team for a month in September.

I think the most critical issue in last summer's international experience was that Amihere played much better than Aaliyah in the prelim games which led to Aaliyah ultimately not getting any significant minutes.

I think that messed with her confidence and affected her UConn season. Some may pooh pooh this but seeing the only other college (SV for goodness sakes) rival having more success early must have hurt.

I am assuming Aaliyah is much better equipped to handle this (private) comparison although it is certainly less important since the stakes are much less and more players on the team are her age peer's
