I know that you are aware that this website/WBB forum is basically made up of UConn fans so I would expect outrage that the wrong player won this award...because the wrong player did win this award.

And you know this award is comprised of votes from coaches, press and fans right? I'll say the same thing about Paige as I did when Sarah didn't win Freshman of the Year......I bet she could care less........like Sarah, her only concern is winning a National Championship....

The AP POY vote has been in the can since the end of the regular season. Would be quite the surprise if anyone other than JuJu wins.And you know this award is comprised of votes from coaches, press and fans right? It's always going to be skewed based on the popularity of the player to an extent.

I could do that if I knew that she had a really great season. But I only saw one game of hers, against UConn. I very rarely watch a game that UConn isn't playing. So I am a UConn homer and mean no disrespect to any other team or their players (except one team).
I really, really like Paige as a player and a person and will hope she wins every award she is up for because in my mind, she deserves to win it this season.
And finally, I intended my earlier post as humor in response to your OP.
