He looks like he could definitely be a contributor in 2014-2015. He will likely have 15-20 additional pounds of muscle and could be available by the start of the second semester.

How likely is that to happen? Would he just play basketball for his last three years from January on or would he have to quit football all together? If the kid could play, he would probably be a lot more valuable to the basketball team.

His pro prospects are in football but he could definitely help the basketball team depending on what bodies we have. Julius Peppers did it for UNC for a couple of years, MSU also had a guy who I can't remember who contributed at the 4 spot.

......but Julius Peppers never had to go to class. Actually having to take and pass classes makes it much more difficult.

The best part is that he can be a contributor to the basketball team without taking up a scholarship, as the scholarship count for football takes precedence over basketball. Tony Gonzalez is another example of a football player who contributed greatly to his basketball team as well (Cal IIRC)

It up. Is also a very skilled player has guarded all 5 spots
The faster he grasps the football end is the faster he gets
On that court and " locks down" his opponent.
