Jones, Dixon-Williams and Yates

O.K., I was as at the game and have no information. Durante Jones spent the first half on the sidelines helmet in hand, and I couldn’t find Yates or Dixon-Williams on the field or sideline at any point. Does anyone know what the heck was happening? I don’t bet, but how unfair for someone to lay money down not knowing we were starting the game without probably our three most experienced defensive starters.

Yates (concussion) & Dixon-Williams (broken hand) were injured. Jones was suspended for a targeting foul in the final game last year for the first half (as he will be for the first half of next weekends game)

At this rate maybe Jones will be suspended for the first half of Duke? Durante has never been able to tackle he just throws his whole body at other players. Has his entire career. There are times where he lays the wood but its the same exact form as his tackles.

I never really got the Jones hype. Mora has talked him up a ton so I'm sure he's a great locker room guy but that only goes so far when the whole team stinks

He had 100 tackles in 2022. Fell off last year as did many. Probably hopeful for a return to past form.

Mora’s ability to evaluate talent is highly suspect at this point.
