So I'm not on facebook, so when I saw this tweet I thought it was bad news...
Big difference! So it sounds like there was a rumor going around campus after this other puppy had been spotted by students, who then jumped to the (not-unreasonable) conclusion that the puppy was the next Jonathan #XIV. Even if the logo has changed, I kind of hope we'll keep the tradition (ever since Jonathan II) of a dog with white fur, if only to distinguish him from the other collegiate Huskies. But if not... well, we'll get used to it. Until then, long live Jonathan XIII!
...and the link wouldn't work for me. So from the cut-off tweet it sounded like bad news for fans of keeping the mascot the same. But then I went to Jonathan's main FB page where I could see the post:Jonathan the XIII
