My opinion, John Silver has been the best covering UConn Football for a long time now. He is the first journalist I look up to get my UConn Football information.

Jim Fuller is doing a good job as well covering UConn. It's really a joke that the Courant can't do better.

One thing to consider... SNY, which has rights to UConn, has a very vested interest in spreading interest in the program and college sports are a big, growing business. Newspapers, not so much. So SNY's resources may well be growing while the Courant's are shrinking.

Not that it necessarily excuses it, but something to consider.
