Damn, he died tonight, complications from the Corona Virus.

IMO, one of our greatest singer songwriters, an icon, and a national treasure.

From his debut album - Hello In There:
Ya' know that old trees just grow stronger
And old rivers grow wilder ev'ry day
Old people just grow lonesome
Waiting for someone to say, "Hello in there, hello"

What happens today? sad day ...

Americana legend and revered singer-songwriter John Prine died Tuesday (April 7) from complications of COVID-19, Prine's family confirmed to Rolling Stone and Billboard separately confirmed. The two-time Grammy-winning artist was 73.

What a loss. Such humanity his music conveyed. I will continue to treasure his music.

Edit: Thanks for the song clips. When his condition was reported to have improved from critical to stable a week or so a go, I thought "wow", maybe he's going to make it, even with all the health conditions he had/has.
