The last line in the article is:

"UConn beat Tennessee, 70-61, in Atlanta to win its second straight title."

What he left off was the Boneyard posts which worried if beating Tennessee by only 9 points was a sign of weakness which needed to be corrected .

well, if uconn only beat Tennessee by six in 1995 and then lost the national semis in OT in 1996, clearly the Huskies weren't yet established as a national powerhouse...

It was the last game of the season, nothing left to improve on.

"Barely able to sit still," before the NC game is not the way I usually think of Maria Conlon, but what a great image of 10 Huskies rarin' to get out on the court to shoot around and start making history. And one of them was the squirmy junior who would go out and nail 3 of 5 three-pointers, pick up two steals, and dish 6 assists in the 5 point win.

And clearly, John saw that he'd gotten the 2004 score mixed up with the 2003 score, so now the correct one of 73-68 is in instead of 2004's score of 70-61.
