"I've always had a lot of respect for Tara [VanDerveer]," Auriemma said. "It seems like there are a lot of teams right now that are looking for reasons not to play us. They [Stanford] are always looking for a reason to stay in the game, to stay in the series. I enjoy the competition with them because we recruit a lot of the same players."
