I know there were rumors on twitter earlier in the day... So I saw a link saying CBS had reported it, went to cbs eye on college football which included a note that the Paterno family disputed it and cited Onward State, a student site... So nobody from CBS confirmed it??? Anyone know if the original eye on college football blog post included the family account or just stated that he was dead??? How do you duck* this story up if you're the reporter?

CBS just changed the story. They had the report of his death up for about an hour. CBS took a report form a student site and ran with it. Disgraceful.

Someone changed the channel and now's he's fine.
