Said the beat writers reported in the post game that ground breaks on the practice facility April 13(?) with a completion date of May 2014.

Crap, I can't find it, but the AD sent out an email last month with a 'save the date' of April 16th for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Originally, completion was supposed to take 24 months, but I have seen June, 2014 listed as the completion date. I guess we'll see.

Yeah I've seen this as well Fishy. Big thing to sell for 2014 recruits...your class can be the one that "opens" this new facility.

Ground has definitely already been broken. They've been digging over there for over a week. But I guess it's not official until we get Herbst out there with the cameras wearing a UConn hard hat and holding a shovel

I was just thinking after I saw the target date that all the kids Ollie recruits from here forward will be able to have the practice facility all four years. Huge selling point
