Said the beat writers reported in the post game that ground breaks on the practice facility April 13(?) with a completion date of May 2014.
Yeah I've seen this as well Fishy. Big thing to sell for 2014 recruits...your class can be the one that "opens" this new facility.Crap, I can't find it, but the AD sent out an email last month with a 'save the date' of April 16th for the groundbreaking ceremony.
Originally, completion was supposed to take 24 months, but I have seen June, 2014 listed as the completion date. I guess we'll see.
Ground has definitely already been broken. They've been digging over there for over a week. But I guess it's not official until we get Herbst out there with the cameras wearing a UConn hard hat and holding a shovel
Timing couldn't be better.Per Dom's tweet....ceremony is indeed on the 16th of April with completion in 14 months.
Great timing for it - we'll need to be able to sell that out on the recruiting trail.
I was just thinking after I saw the target date that all the kids Ollie recruits from here forward will be able to have the practice facility all four years. Huge selling pointPer Dom's tweet....ceremony is indeed on the 16th of April with completion in 14 months.

I heard April 16 but your hearing is probably better than mine.Said the beat writers reported in the post game that ground breaks on the practice facility April 13(?) with a completion date of May 2014.
