Director Of Football On-Campus Recruiting

JOB SUMMARY
This position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations. Responsibilities include: coordinate and implement recruiting operational and logistical processes for the football program, in collaboration with the coaching staff; support the planning and execution of the coaches’ 12-month recruiting calendar (mail, video, graphics and social media); organize and execute all official and unofficial visits to campus by prospective student-athletes, including campus meetings, activities and associated logistics (schedules, travel, meals, hosts, complimentary tickets and compliance paperwork); assist with recruiting database management, including maintaining accurate records on new and existing prospective student-athletes; send mailings and other permissible communications to prospective student-athletes, their personal contacts and high school coaches; assist with monitoring contacts/evaluations conducted by the coaching staff; generate recruiting lists as required and requested; provide support for game and practice preparation, including attending meetings related to coaching and game analysis; prepare blitz sheets and other pre-travel reports for the coaching staff; assist the staff in mentoring student-athletes and supporting their overall academic, athletic and social well-being; and perform other program duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and/or Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree; one year of experience working within a collegiate football program; demonstrated experience with football-specific technology/software; an understanding of the correct application of NCAA regulations, especially as related to recruiting; strong commitment to the academic goals of the University; and excellent organizational, communication, and public relations skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two to three years of experience working within a collegiate football program; previous experience working with a FBS collegiate or professional football team; demonstrated experience with technology/database software from XOS, JumpForward and/or Hudl.
APPOINTMENT TERMS: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
