His "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" was made into a primitive music short featuring Meat Loaf (of course) played each time the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" was played at the theatre where I worked while in college. I remember listening to a Meat Loaf concert on the radio where Jim Steinman was credited not only for the song-writing but also was the pianist for the concert, back shortly after in came out.
