As a former member of the UCMB, I thought this was really cool. Randy Edsall wouldn't dream of doing something like this. So far Jim is hitting all the right notes in his "promo tour".

As a former member of the UCMB, I thought this was really cool. Randy Edsall wouldn't dream of doing something like this. So far Jim is hitting all the right notes in his "promo tour".

Actually Randy did come talk to us his first go round. If I recall correctly he came and talked to the UCMB both at the practice field one or two years and one time in the Music Building during pre-season. This was between '99-'03. I'm not trying to throw anything back at you. It's still awesome when the coaches show their thanks for every part of the football team.

I remember having Geno come up to us at the Final Four in St. Louis in '01 in the tunnel before the ND game. He came up and thanked all of us and told us he always loved having us play. Even took a picture with some of us. The game result was awful but we'll try and forget that.

I stand corrected. Thanks for the info on RE 1.0. I was there well before Edsall, and can tell you that in 4 years, Tom Jackson never addressed the Marching Band, LOL!
