More people allows for more ideas that seem minor but actually help attract kids. Edsall did not have a lot of people; which also meant that coaches and DPP and personnel staff, rather than operations staff, had to work on silly things like what the welcome to UConn packets will look like for recruits or how to use the copy machine lol. Having a larger recruiting staff will especially help the young position coaches so they can spend more time watching film and talking to athletes rather than figuring out how they’re going to travel or which picture to send the recruits from their visits etc
