That’s what great coaches do. It’s why I suspect that an Auriemma would succeed as a men’s coach. He’s not afraid that his great players will hate him and they almost never do.

I do think it’s harder with young men whose egos get in the way after years of being told they are the greatest. Of course the JC approach could be borderline comical with his super quick and frequent hook.

JA needs to be disciplined so that he plays his best. He's currently not playing to his full potential. Set a standard, put him on the bench until he plays smart with the basketball.
