With the new jerseys (at least the white ones) being released I was wondering what uniforms we’ve had over the years, since we’ve had a lot of them. I’ll start by our most recent, the 2020-present home jerseys.

Here’s a Twitter thread I did on this topic but just focused on UConn’s Big East jerseys.

Props for sneaking the word anthropomorphic in there. :)

The 1985 -1986 set is awesome - the script UConn on the shorts and the indent on the piping make it

I wish we could also include the navy and alternate jerseys too

Such a cool thread to go through again, thanks tcf. So funny to see they used to wear those raggedy cotton t shirts underneath, especially in that one pic with Donyell.

After looking back at these, my favorite unis are still the ones from 1995-98, so iconic, I love the style and having Connecticut on the jersey. Hoping these are the ones we see for the throwback uniforms, but if they brought back the 90-91 ones or 98-03, id be cool with that too.

If you are going to tell a story, start the begining...

Around 180 million years ago, during the Jurassic Period, New Jersey bordered North Africa. The pressure of the collision between North America and Africa gave rise to the Appalachian Mountains. Around 18,000 years ago, the Ice Age resulted in glaciers that reached New Jersey. As the glaciers retreated, they left behind Lake Passaic, as well as many rivers, swamps, and gorges ...

I thought this was going to be a statistical analysis of the analytics of point guards from the Garden State.
