Jersey Battle: Dogfight between UConn and Xavier! Come Vote!

I saw all of this coming 5 years ago after watching UConn lose to conference rival Tulsa Golden Hurricane on the ESPNews network

Lol as I would post my votes I would see the total jump up two or three, and I thought to myself “ I wonder who else is on”

At 10:45 PM they made a push. For 15 minutes I'd see my one vote and thought we were doomed. Additionally @Dove decides it was a good time to find out about Adirondack chairs so he posts a new thread and for some reason it prevented me from clicking on the voting site. I was going to head to that thread and declare shut up Dove but I was afraid to stop trying to vote.

My cat who had been ignoring me all week decided at that time to want attention.

And then at 11:00 PM reinforcements came and I knew we had it.

It was silly but I really like those shirts so it was worth the 1 1/2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

When I posted we were up by 1,000 votes (we were) we started losing ground over the subsequent 20 minutes (10:45 - 11:05) where they cut the lead down to about 925. Over the next ten minutes we got all of it back.

I think there were three or four of us on from around 9:00 to 10:30 then someone dropped off.
 
I voted a few dozen times between 10 and 11:45, but I took breaks. Our lead was slightly growing the whole time, so I thought it safe to quit up over 1k with 15 minutes left.
 
I was good for 15-20 votes last night. Shall we engineer a final round tie? lol

jk white throwbacks forever. We've won 3 titles in those now, including the most recent? They need to be our staple.

It’s a no brainer that those should just be the uni, period. I mean the whole country of non UConn thinks they are the best in country too. Which of course means that we will probaly end up with a mauve and Brown new design with a husky that looks like a dingo.

Except for a friend of mine, who did not realize I was a UConn fan who commented that they were “ugly” at dinner. I’ve been teasing her about it ever since.
