Good news for Jerome, best of luck.

Just looking at his stats in Tulsa ... his 3pt % (and really overall shooting) is abysmal. Hopefully he can make a nice impact while in NO.

You forgot the *GN !!!

I've been waiting for this post with the names Jeremy Lamb and Andre Drummond inserted.

It's nice to postpone it a little longer.

Nice going for JD!

I've always felt JD has the raw skills to be in the NBA. Just not sure he's got the BBIQ. Hopefully he's learned a lot, improved his D and learned to use his skills at more moderate risk level. I still have nightmares of him driving the lane and getting stripped over and over again, not to mention the frequent bonehead reach-in-fouls though he began to reduce those a tad during his last year at UConn.

He was always fearless when driving to the basket and was pretty good at finishing around the rim. Getting there with the ball was the problem, plus his 3 ball was more a set shot. I wonder if he's been able to learn more of a jump-shot with range.

Regardless to how frustrated I was with a player, I always wish them success. I'm happy for him.

Not to demean the self-important dickwads who cannot simply wish the kid well or compliment him on his hard working paying off without re-introducing us to their worn reviews of his abilities, but they can duck* off.

Congrats to Jerome. He's earned it.

And thanks to him for not face-duck*ing our APR like some of his more appreciated teammates.

You're absolutely right. Plus, during the 2009-2010 season, Jerome did a great job showing Kemba how not to lead a basketball team. I think it paid big dividends the next year.

In all seriousness, good luck to 'rome. Great kid, hard worker, and a true Husky.

was it the marq game where he hit the floor and left two teeth in the floor and they made him leave the game for a play.

Congrats Jerome!

Although he's not going to win a postseason game with the Hornets this year either. I imagine some of you koolaid drinkers will say that's just coincidence.

@ DePaul.

I remember we were down big in the second half, and he really helped rally us back (capped of course by leaving the teeth on the floor fighting for a ball)

We lost the game, but that scene alone tells you all you need to know about Jerome as a competitor.

Bingo.

The kid who left teeth and skin on the floor on a regular basis, the kid whose career ended when he tore up his knee, the kid who got it done in the classroom is the same kid who just couldn't do enough to please some of the assfaces here.

duck* 'em.

A fine sentiment, and also useful for figuring out what does and does not need to be **ed out

Chief00 agrees with you, but first, he would like to list the 456 reasons why Jerome Dyson is a horrible human being.
