Not surprising. Generally when you hear that they're waiting to assess the injury it means that there's too much swelling and damage to get a good image.

Ugh. Playing one game, you would be entitled to a medical redshirt, and a 6th season, if your prior redshirt year was also because of injury. Unfortunately, I have no reason to think that is why he didn't play as a true frosh, but having him back for one more year, with Trevardo and Joseph gone, would be a huge benefit if someone can make an injury up.

The problem is the first injury has to be documented at the time it occurs. Unless we have something, he's probably screwed.

Which brings up a question why doesn't everyone just document every single little injury for all redshirting freshman players in case this happens in the future?

You mean other than that everybody doesn't lie and cheat on a daily basis?

You would have to think with all the miserable things that went down this week we are long overdue for a big break. A loss this weekend would just be the cherry on a sundae.

Won't happen.

UConn wins this game 27-10.

There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to how the NCAA operates, it could go either way.

Not to be harsh, but as a matter of logic you supported a statement that everyone cheats and lie by citing one particular institution that does.

OK, I'll play ... Which list would be shorter? Schools that cheat and lie? ... or schools that don't cheat and lie?

Just curious, how exactly is documenting an injury cheating?

I assume we're talking about making up an injury his first year in the program, as opposed to one having actually happened.

I thought he meant just document every time a redshirting player gets dinged up in practice that way you can make the case that he wouldn't have been able to play due to all of the injuries. Stretching the truth more than making something up.
