The team frequently takes the air out of the ball earlier than I would like. Over the years, though, it usually works.
Today the lead wasn't big enough to do it. The only rational reason was because they were tired. Looking at the way Lamb and others were playing, that was probably the case.
UConn did a fine job controlling tempo. They did a good job on the boards which meant Syracuse didn't have many runouts. UConn just missed some shots. I see more positives than negatives right now.
Same, here. He knew we couldn't win a wide open game, so he tried to make it a scoring efficiency contest. Unfortunately, while we got good shots, we just didn't have a good day shooting the ball. I'd love to get a fourth bite at the apple.
