Jay Wright steps away from TV to focus on Villanova role

Clark Kellog is reportedly making 400k from CBS (maybe more with TNT now in the fold). If that figure is in the vicinity of what Wright was making, I think it makes sense to make that and course correct the program that is tied to his legacy. For reference, Alabama pays Nick Saban $500k as an advisor of the program.

What? That's crazy. I have trouble believing that's all he makes. Its good work if you can get it, since it isn't really full time and its a fun job, but that seems low. He's a very experienced and well known guy. I'd have guessed 1.5 mill at least.

I know a Youtuber well, he has a good following. He's always short on cash and saving for car repairs etc. He's doing ok but he probably makes 5k per month on youtube. Out of the blue my brother texts me that I'd "like this guy on youtube. He is worth $22,000,000, my wife looked it up". His source was AI on a Google search. My brother is a smart and successful guy, but he lives for ChatGPT and Google to supply his answers lately and I need to give him a talking to about it. Moral of the story is, don't believe everything on the internet.

It appears to be correct, he does make $400,000 a year, in comparison Jay Bilas makes 2 million dollars a year.

Although to be fair Jay Bilas does a multiple games a week all season and ESPN March madness coverage and Kellogg does a few regular seasons games and really gets paid for his March madness TV time.

I was going to say, Kellogg doesn't work much so that's why he only makes $400,000. Nice part time gig.

Is this info coming from a basic Google search?

I don't think so. A Google search comes up with nothing except, "Clark Kellogg's specific salary at CBS has not been publicly disclosed, as network broadcasters' compensation is generally kept private."
