As Jasmine Lister sat on the University of Connecticut's bench before Friday's Hall of Fame Women's Challenge, she admitted she was having flashbacks to one of the finer moments of her basketball career.
Last June 26 -- four days after being signed by the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks -- the former Vanderbilt point guard had seven points, three rebounds, and two assists in 31 minutes of an overtime loss to the Connecticut Sun. It was a highlight of her four-week stay with the Sparks, a summer job that was a dream come true.
"It was awesome," Lister said. "Some of the UConn players came to the game and I recognized some of the fans that also come to UConn games. It was cool to see everyone."
