Husky supporter is spot on. Had seven INTs sophomore year and was all conference IIRC. Junior year we played Syracuse early on and he got totally embarrassed. Was never the same since that point. Switched to FS for a couple games junior year. Our coach did not hold back in criticism of Summers...called him a knuckle head publicly and often alluded to his lack of motivation. In one game last year, he got pulled by the coach because he got burned and then picked up the ball after the play and threw it at the back of the opposing receiver in a game where we were getting embarrassed. Believe he was suspended for first half of the next game. He has talent, but not enough to get by without work ethic. Totally frustrating career in Storrs, but could be a good find...there was a time in his career where he was projected to be drafted in the first two days of the draft.

He is an enigma wrapped in a conundrum inside of a riddle. He would show great instincts and talent. They he would show up in a different area code than the wide out he was covering. He has excellent athleticism, good ball skills, fair speed and questionable work ethic. You figure it out. We never could.

That said, best of luck to the young man. Hope he learns to maximize his potential.

Ceiling is practice squad and maybe he develops and finds a way to play consistently at a high level.

In a press system where he is allowed to take a chance or two, he can be good. If you want him to play off the receiver and read and react, it will be an uphill battle.

Posts are spot on. Lockdown corner as a sophomore - if you challenged him, you got burned. Junior year - got toasted by a good WR from Cuse that we failed to make sufficient adjustments against during the game and he did not recover from that point on. Last year was just weird. After soph year I thought he was a 3-4th round pick. After junior year that seemed a distant memory. I think he still has the talent to make a roster, but he began an enigma for us.
