No Longer A QB, But Donovan Williams Still Making Impressive Calls
Nice read about a good kid. When asked about Diaco throwing him in front of the bus last season, Donovan takes the high road. I'm excited to see him grow into a valuable special teams contributor and wide receiver. My favorite quote came from Bryant:
"Donovan's a class act," said Shirreffs, who has re-emerged as UConn's starter. "I've been really close with him since he came here. I hope he has learned things from me. I've definitely learned things from him. He's selfless. He wants the best for his team. He has shown that playing a position he didn't come here to play. He's doing a heck of a job. He has surprised me with his knowledge of the position."
