He pretty much covered it. The guy is a baseball writer that doesn't pay any attention to WCBB that doesn't like non competitive games. Since it's tournament time my guess is that ESPN paid him to stir some controversy - just like there is contoversy every year - it's good for the game.

"What's really boring is what a bad job the other supposed powers of women's basketball have done in recent years of recruiting and developing an array of talent so they can compete from all five positions on both ends of the floor. What's boring is how these top teams get so many elite 18-year-old athletes and don't turn them into elite 22-year-old basketball players. Yes, it's a matter of talent, but it's also a matter of offensive creativity, discipline on and off the court and a group dynamic relentlessly bent on improvement."
