And I've been here for some terrible NIT games...
It's quite depressing.
the bottom section of gampel looks like it has rows of empty seats on TV
the students are back now, right?
Really late start and in Gampel. People in new haven county won't get home till after midnight.
Students still on break also
Bad combination for fan turnout
On campus students not allowed to move back in until Sunday.
You'd think that in this era of tech, some school would come up with an app of some sort that could instantly rout tickets to students when a ticketholder isn't going to make the game. It would be so easy to do.
We're here for free as a promo for XL season ticket holders.
1. Crowd is very light
2. Haven't been here in about 5 years. WTH is up with those ceiling tiles? It looks AWFUL.
Playing at 9:00 at Gampel on a weekday when the students aren't back yet is a dumb f'in idea. I know, I know, television..
Bad planning for reasons cited but as a fan you got to do the grind.
Chief is in the house.
Should have been at the XL
I love UCONN but no way I'm going to a mid-week game at Gampel and getting home at almost 1:00 am when I have to get up at 5:00 am for work.
If there is going to be a 9PM weekday game then it should be one of the days between Christmas and New Year when half the people aren't working anyway. I guess UConn has no control over these things though.
I'll be a wreck at work tommorow, but at least I didn't need to take vacation time to attend this game.
If I went to the game wouldn't be home close to 2. Plus the students aren't there. Let it go
I do that for the city games when I only have to drive 30 minutes to and from the train station

Just walked in the door. Don't blame those who didn't make it. Gotta be up for 5 am
all four of us were there, I live the closest and arrived home at midnight
