At least top five. Just a tremendous tailgate atmosphere and a never-say-die attitude on the part of the guys and the coaching staff. I remember thinking to myself, after all the crap that happened to us that year, losing five games by a total of 15 points, couldn't we please, please, please make a bowl -- and we did.

That was probably our least desirable bowl destination and I wouldn't have missed Birmingham for the world. I loved that team, with a capital L.
