I expect they will come back from the break and start playing better. The offense is performing well below it's capability. Just like every year.

Good point. Every year our offense sucks and there's various other problems at this time of year, although there are usually some bright spots. Right now, those brights spots are not as visible. The target on our backs has also been a factor, and also our high expectations.

In summary:

There have been many seasons in which UConn has struggled at this time of year. So struggling, if it happens, should be no surprise to anyone.

In spite of this well documented history, there are always posters who are surprised and angry by the teams swoon. And that is historically well documented as well.

And in spite of the history of fans being surprised and angry by the teams swoon, there are still some of us surprised and angry at this response. And that is consistent as well.

Nice to know life is predictable about some things. But you are correct in that we have know way of knowing how this team will finish the season.
