So, let's brainstorm what Geno might mean -

- we're wearing special Nike uniforms and shoes (blinding them with the ugliness)
- team is gonna play 5 guards and run them out of the gym
- team is gonna play big/twin towers
- Heather is gonna get lots of minutes to mix it up a bit ... heck, it's 5 fouls to use
- CDs gonna let them grow their nails and paint them (on 2nd thought, nope)
- we're gonna try the ND philosophy of fouling on every possession

I'm out of ideas, but it is intriguing ...

I would expect more height with Kiah Stef and Heather getting more playtime. Heather can keep Peters away from the basket. I also expect alot of penetration from the guards especially Kelly. Dont be surprised to see Kelly Faris have a big night with ND doubleing up on everybody else and leaving her open. Setting plays up for Kelly to drive to the basket will be big. After watching KML the past two games look for her to have a big game. UConn wins this one.

- team is gonna play 5 guards and run them out of the gym...hmmm, possible but that would presuppose that ND is unable to keep up with the speed...and that has been demonstrably untrue this season.
- team is gonna play big/twin towers - This could be what he meant...but will it be effective against Peters and Mallory?
- Heather is gonna get lots of minutes to mix it up a bit ... heck, it's 5 fouls to use - Don'tHere see how this will be a game changer...although it fits the definition of something we haven't seen in a while.
- CDs gonna let them grow their nails and paint them (on 2nd thought, nope) That would be a double NOPE!
- we're gonna try the ND philosophy of fouling on every possession Unlikely, as that would put players we will need to procure the win in danger of fouling out.

I'm out of ideas, but it is intriguing ...

Here are a few others:

1. Geno will instruct the players to flop every time they are touched. He may believe that our players are too stoic and don't show when they get fouled and therefore don't get the calls...so he might have them exaggerate the effects of the contact in order to get the referees attention.

2. He will have Kelly Faris drive to the basket and either pull-up or take it to the hole...this will force ND to guard her...thus freeing UConn up to run their offensive sets.

3. He will use KML in the post giving Dolson and / or Kiah an additional post presence causing ND to collapse to the middle which will free Bria Hartley, Doty and Tiffany to knock down threes... Hopefully, we make some shots tomorrow.

4. His benching strategy on both Kiah and Dolson will have a colossal effect and they will emerge as absolute monsters.

5. They will play zone all night taking away the middle from ND

I see a 5 center offense coming with Stef running the point from inside the foul line. No problem getting the ball into the post as it will always be in there to begin with.

Different kind of game? I've just been watching the Duke-UNC game on ESPN3, and Duke is playing another kind of game, I think it's called rugby.
