From HCBD press conference: "It's been a lot to chew on here with Navy, Virginia, Syracuse and Houston right in a row," Diaco said. "You're talking about AP calculus, to relate it to something. You've got the Navy triple option, the Rich Rodriguez plug, Orange is the new fast, and then the Greg Ward Jr. show with the Urban Meyer offensive system."

Hmmm...every opponent seems to have some amazing offense to deal with. Doubt opposing coaches mention our "RRPP offense" in their weekly pressers. It ain't rocket science Bobby; seems nearly every college team in FBS can light up the scoreboard and excite their fans, win or lose. Get some creativity one of these years!

Amen. They can't all be world beaters, just UConn beaters. This us against the world nonsense is wearing really thin. If the rest of the world is better than us, whose fault is that?

I'm beginning to think Diaco sees the ghost of Vince Lombardi patrolling the sideline of every opponent we face.

Bob plays every game as if UConn is overmatched and our only hope is to hang around and sneak out a win in the final seconds. That is a sound strategy when you actually are playing teams who are much better than you, in fact it's exciting, but when you are playing Maine and Navy and Viginia and Syacuse not so much.

With Bob's crappy game planning, UConn is overmatched every game. Not the team, the coach.
