Mr. Sec is wondering that exact question. Really, who cares about an extra few million for a school who wants to leave early? The Big East needs a guarantee that the BCS bid will be stable for an extended period of time. The BCS bid is what BYU, Boise, and even Navy/Air Force really want to hear about.
