Well I think they will win the west... Temple/Tulsa would be a great AAC title game.

I watched Tulsa for the first time last night against Memphis. Boy, that offense is very Baylor-esque. Montgomery was a very good hire for them and the dividends have been immediate.

They score a truckload of points so they have a shot. I think it will come down to USF vs Houston though.

Houston needs the winner of Tulsa/Navy to lose a second conference game assuming they win at Memphis.

People hate on Tulsa, but they are decent in both major sports and they sure as stuff are fun to watch in football.
Tulsa is good "filler" in the conference. They don't really lift the league, but they do no real damage either. They are kind of to the AAC, what NC St. is to the ACC. Tulane, and EC are the programs that bring the least to the league, especially Tulane.

When the conference formed, I remember the nasty comments about Tulsa, SMU, and Tulane. Now, a few years later, we're looking up at Tulsa and SMU. The same might be true about Tulane.

Ohio State 48, Tulsa 3
Penn State 24, Ohio State 21
Penn State 34, Temple 27
I'd say Tulsa probably won't win the AAC.
