There were positive signs, the most positive being Lamb. This is the first game in a long, long time I remember him fighting back and not complaining/worrying about foul calls and attacking. He still took way too many threes but he was aggressive for the first time in a long time and it was nice. If this is the game that sparks him to understand that UConn needs him to be aggressive to win, then yes. If it was just a fluke, then no. It's not fair to Lamb, but it's the truth of the matter. They need Lamb to have a Caron Butler/Ben Gordon mid-season transformation where he goes from good to great.
Second, Roscoe and Tyler both had aggressive games. Both actually took shots when open. Both need to hit more frequently, but at this point I'm just happy they aren't scared to shoot.
Third, Napier really steadied the ship when he came in. The team just played much better with him in the game.
Fourth, AO was much better in the post and his attitude was great.
Fifth, Drummond was a tad lost but had a pretty good game overall.
Sixth, the refs were horrid, but horrid on both sides (taking out the constant carrying by Nova and the constant pushoffs by the Nova PG, which they at least were consistent on)
Finally, Daniels looked more relaxed and made another three...missed the fastbreak layup though.
