He just keeps getting better, better and better.

I never saw him play but my old man and others seem to like the Pistol Pete comparison.

I just didn't think his game would transfer into the NBA. I was wrong. I was VERY wrong.

Honestly, I figured he'd be a scorer off the bench. Whoops.

He is incredibly fun to watch. His skills with the ball are just bananas. Part what makes him so fun to watch is that he's a reasonably normal sized dude and he's killing everyone.

I thought his max would be Kyle Korver type numbers which is pretty solid so I got it wrong too.

Did I read it correctly that he hit 77 STRAIGHT 3's in practice and 94 out of 100?

That is insanity.

Only thing the Dubs are missing is a UConn connection. Hope they pick up Boat this summer!

Curry is much better than West
He is VERY good, but much better than West? People are so quick to anoint, lets wait til he plays 8 or 9 years and look at how he does in the post season first. He's a great shooter, but not close to the passer Pistol Pete was. The only players I've seen pass like that are Magic, Bird, & E. Baylor. It been so long since Golden State did anything that after 1 playoff win they actually had confetti coming down for at least 5 minutes.

He is one of the top players today, but Jerry West is an all time great and in the Hall of Fame. Maybe one day he will be there but now he is just one of the top 5 or so players in the game.

Jerry West is the NBA logo one of the best ever. Curry has to do this for 12 more years.

That's extremely impressive, but it's crazy how good those guys are when they're unguarded. There are stories about Kemba hitting 50 straight or something like that in the practice before the SDSU game. And he's not even a great shooter.

Somebody years ago was posting about how he stopped in to watch Ben Gordon shoot in an empty gym. He estimated that he hit 985 out of 1000.

I'm guessing that he probably shot closer to 95%, and I doubt he would have been able to maintain that clip for 1,000 shots. But yeah, when a great shooter is unguarded in an open gym, you're going to see some crazy streaks.
