Is Samson the NEW Bam or TOO FAR?

I mentioned before he reminded me of Cliff , if he gets a mid range game he could make a lot of money.
He could be a great defender with practice

Has size , length, athleticism, he is really fast and quick. He should be able to really defend on the perimeter if wants to be one. His development could be hurleys best work if it pans out.

Notice that Newton and Karaban had bad games when they had threads of hyperbole, it worked in reverse for Clingan when there were threads ripping him.

Johnson has also two straight games thrown a terrific pass from the high post to a cutter. He is an incredibly impactful backup. To be a impactful starter next year, he’ll have to have some semblance of a jump shot. Given that for 2 years we’ve heard he can hit 3s and space the floor, it won’t surprise me if we see that next year.

He does a lot right but he’s not a star yet. He came in with a rep of being able to shoot but we haven’t seen that yet. He also still reaches a bit on defense. And we haven’t seen him defend a really good post big yet. He did well against Indiana.

Sorta a poor man’s Johnathan Isaac at this point. Great defense and clean up guy. Will need to spread the floor moving forward since he’s also not a back-to-the-basket guy.

He has great height and athleticism, even by NBA standards. His game has a ton of room for improvement but he appears to have a great attitude towards developing his game.

If he continues to progress, he could carve out a nice career in the league as first big off the bench (or occasional starter).

He's good, he's Samson Johnson, he's getting some burn, he impressed me too

I think he's going to the NBA eventually

From project to first round? Hilton Armstrong, just different
