Not a big fan of Sexy Rexy; but was he (and Bills Management) correct to change OC's after a couple of weeks of poor performance? Hum.....Just asking........

I don't know if he was correct, but it seems like a situation where somebody needed to be scapegoated and the only alternative was to fire himself or his brother...which, is probably going to end up happening anyway.

Hello.....the issue is not Rex Ryan or the Bills it is: IS IT TIME FOR UCONN TO REPLACE THE OC?

Verducci was one of Diaco's coaches as an undergrad. It'll take a Benedict intervention to get him to remove the guy.

Unfortunately, Verducci may be to HCBD what GDL was to Coach P. I have little doubt that we could do better at OC, and need to. But I'm not holding my breath.

Plus he is 2-1 and could easily be 3-0. No way at UConn anyone gets fired. Alabama or FSU type school? Already gone...ready to fire replacements...LOL

Rex Ryan is rarely correct. In a speech to the team, Rex said if things didn't work, he'd be the first out the door. Turns out, his OC was the first to go.

Most of the responses to the original post are like the proverbial " rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic".
The big issue is would UCONN's offense be better with a different OC?
The responses related to the Blowhard in Buffalo either miss the obvious point or demonstrate a desire to avoid the question.

Benedict has the full backing of SH. If he senses things are heading south (instead of mid-west) he'll move on any assistant. There's too much at stake. And coaches know the score (even if it's in single digits). They, like Hyman Roth, know that "this is the business we have chosen".
