Or do they still sneak into the NIT?

Who knows at this point.

All that's for certain is that they "earned" their BE money this year.

44 points vs a below average Cincy team. Guess they couldnt get over the UConn loss

I'm thinking this hurts their chances for an at-large bid.

Wait a team who lost to Penn St, DePaul, BC and Brown is not going to the NCAA tournament? How?

I though they were the future and we are the past? This doesn't make any sense!

Wait. I thought a 17-14 season with losses to Penn St, Brown, and BC is a lock for a 6-10 seed?

Poor li'l fellas. Not enough grit and pluck I guess. Great season for them though. They should be proud.

Well, the fact we are talking about them means we are jealous of them and what they accomplished this year.

I'm sure its not just message board husky fans responding to PC trolls, but Ollie and JC are this very moment, thinking about how to deal with PC becoming one of the top programs in the country.

(By top programs, I mean programs picked to finish last and end up 9th)

C'mon they showed some pluck and spunk rallying from that 18 points hole to cut it to 9. They are quite gritty those Friars !!!!!

And, heck!!! They pissed JC off at a press conference in 2004 regarding Ryan Gomes. They got under Calhoun's skin so much that JC went on to win his 2nd of 3 National Championships.

One of my favorite posts by Sean. He could not have summed up how sad PC is any better then that.

That was a great one. I liked his "Did we earn our money this year". In a season where their post-season is losing on Wednesday afternoon and playing in the NIT (maybe).

found myself rooting for Providence when they started to come back

I really like their team. Some of their fans are just obsessed with UConn. Like if you are a fan of one team, why in the hell would you make an account on another team's message board?
