Two former UConn coaches face off this weekend for what I think will be one heck of a game. Coach Ambrose (former QB/offensive coordinator) now the head coach of the Towson Tigers, and Coach Edsall of the Maryland Terrapins will meet at Capitol One Field at 3:30pm this Saturday. This will be the first ever game between the two in-state teams.
Towson is one of five unbeaten teams in the FCS, is ranked 23rd, and leads in scoring defense. Their wins have been against Morgan State (42-3), an upset over Villanova (31-10), and Colgate (42-17). Although Maryland won it's opener against Miami, they losses have been to West Virginia and Temple (that one had to hurt). I'm hoping the Tigers win this one. Go Rob!
