Record-Low Overnight For ACC Title Game: Saturday’s #5 Virginia Tech/#20 Clemson ACC Championship Game earned a mere 1.7 overnight rating on ESPN, down 15% from last year (VT/FSU: 2.0), and down 11% from 2009 (GT/CLEM: 1.9). The 1.7 is the lowest overnight in the history of the ACC title game. For some perspective, the Conference USA Championship Game on ABC, which aired at Noon ET the next day BWelt doubled the ACC figure (USM/HOU: 3.1).
