iPads on the bench

Random question but are iPads allowed to be used on the bench? I saw two iPads being used by LSU assistant coaches or support staff during the Alabama game (3Q with 2-3 minutes left). I tried to look up a rule and couldn't find anything.

And as soon as I posted this, I noticed an iPad on the Alabama bench with a live feed of the game. It's funny how these things happen. I don't ever remember seeing one on the South Carolina bench but that may be because I wasn't looking for one.

Considering most schools openly use them, I don’t think it’s illegal.

Would see it being no different than NFL. Everything is about analytics in real time nowadays.

It would freak me out if the refs looked at a team's IPad during the game or looked at their own (especially at half time)!!!!
